Meet the Team


Diane Briggs Parentalk NE Lincs Regional Co-ordinator Diane Briggs has been married to Steve for 34 years and has three grown up children. For the last fourteen years she has managed a pre-school and for seven of them has supported local parents, using the Parentalk course each term. She is also a local child care tutor and has worked for Parentalk for 2½ years. To contact Diane, email diane@parentalk.co.uk Pam Hands Parents Worker - Parents of Children with Disabilities Pam Hands is married to Keith and has two daughters; Karen aged 34 and Christina 16. Christina has Downs Syndrome. She has met many children with special needs and their parents and has experienced the anxieties and often difficult decisions that having a child with special needs brings. She has worked for Parentalk for 18 months. To contact Pam, email pam@parentalk.co.uk Julie Jackson Parent Worker – Parents of Children with Special Needs and Disabilities Julie has worked in Childcare for 26 years, 10 of which were in a Paediatric Unit and 10 years travelling all over the world as a Nanny. She spent the last 5 years teaching Childcare at a College in London. Julie has recently joined the Parentalk team.		Anna Cressey Parents Worker - Schools and Children with Special Educational Needs Anna Cressey is married to Dave and has three children aged 18, 16 and 11. As a result of being a parent, infant teacher and child minder she has developed a passion for supporting and equipping parents in their exciting, crucial and challenging role. She has worked for Parentalk for 18 months. To contact Anna, email anna@parentalk.co.uk Claire Markham Parent Worker – Parents of Children with Special Needs and Disabilities Claire is a single parent of 2 boys; Ian aged 10 and Jack aged 8. Jack has complex needs and severe global delay. She also works as a befriender for Face2Face (Parents supporting parents of disabled children). She has recently joined the Parentalk team.
