Dads and Step Dads Take up the Challenge

10 Dads and Step Dads took up the Parentalk Challenge to complete 4 action packed Saturday sessions with their children plus some time together with other Dads to talk about some of the issues around being a Dad and to swap great practical parenting ideas.

The four 2 hour sessions were organised by Anna Cressey (Parentalk) in partnership with Julie Easton (Cleethorpes Children’s Centre - Reynolds Dad’s Group) and held at the Children’s Centre.

One Dad said “it was absolutely brilliant but it was over too soon”.  Another commented “the best thing was discussing topics related to everyday life” and “it’s helped me to look at things from the child’s point of view.”

This project was jointly funded by the Parenting Fund and Cleethorpes Children’s Centre.
