Steve Chalke Parentalk Founder says:

Parentalk is all about inspiring and equipping parents to enjoy parenthood more. None of us are going to be perfect parents, but we can be successful ones.

As this site has grown it has become a main source for practical information and top tips for making the most of every stage of your child's growing up... and beyond. Hopefully it also raises a smile or two... let's face it, as a parent, your sense of humour is your best asset!"

Steve Chalke founded Parentalk in January 1998. He is the author of 'Parentalk's How to Succeed as a Parent' and a number of Parentalk Guides including:

'The Parentalk Guide to the Toddler Years'
'The Parentalk Guide to the Childhood Years'
'The Parentalk Guide to the Teenage Years'
'The Parentalk Guide to Your Child and Sex'
'The Parentalk Guide to Great Days Out'

Steve is 50 and lives in South London with his wife, Cornelia and their four children (Emily, Daniel, Abigail and Joshua).

Steve also founded the Oasis Trust in 1985 - originally as a hostel project for homeless teenagers in London. Oasis Trust demonstrates that Christian faith works by delivering practical solutions to the breadth of people’s needs, wherever they are encountered. Oasis believes passionately that faith ‘works’ in the sense that it has the solutions to people’s needs – whether physical, mental, emotional or spiritual. Oasis currently works with people in the UK, USA, Brazil, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Uganda, India, and Bangladesh.
