Us
Parentalk is a growing national charity. We have been working for the past 8 years to support family life and strengthen family relationships. Parentalk offers universal support to parents through our website, which is updated regularly with news and features to inform parents, community-building events, our popular 8-week parenting course and a wide range of books and guides.
Parentalk is working to provide a new range of resources to encourage and sustain parents. We have been funded by the Parenting Fund to work in 3 new areas of the country to deliver a 4-week programme to support parents as their child makes the key transition to secondary school. We have been fortunate to have secured continuation funding for our work with parents in North East Lincolnshire and have a small local office in Grimsby.
Funding and fundraising is a key concern for all voluntary organisations. Parentalk has received funding from the Parenting Fund to deliver specific local projects and has secured investment from Venturesome (the venture philanthropy arm of CAF) to develop an accredited national qualification for working with parents. We constantly seek funding to support our core costs and rely on individual donations, fundraising events and support from trusts and companies to maintain our important work.
